Llanelli Junior Gala - 30th January, 2010

Llandarcy ASC fielded a very young team in the Llanelli Junior Gala, who proved to all that if these swimmers continue with this enthusiasm and strength will make a fantastic future for Llandarcy ASC.

The majority of this team were making their debuts in a gala and showed no evidence of this with the fantastic quality and speed they demonstrated.

Our young boys were not outplaced at all even when swimming in events with swimmers upto four years older than themselves.

For swimmers who have competed before Personal Best times were abundance, which is a fantastic feat.

There were so many good swims that I couldn’t possibly name them all!!

As Coaches of Llandarcy Dai and I could not be more pleased with the team spirit, performance of rookie and existing competitors which gained us a very good fourth place finish.

Thank you to all swimmers and supporters who made this afternoon such a pleasure to be part of.
